Nachos
What do you call cheese that is not yours? Nacho cheese! (Get it? Get it?)
The recipe for nachos is very simple. Grab some tortilla
chips, layer on some toppings, and then heat everything up in the oven, toaster
oven, or microwave for some nacho goodness. Here are some ideas for what you
can put in your nachos:
Cheese:
I like cheddar, pepper jack, queso blanco, and cotija
cheeses best. Daiya works well for vegans.
Beans:
These are always included for me because I like having the
extra protein. Black beans, pinto beans, kidney beans, and refried beans all
work well.
Salsa:
Choose any flavor you like. Canned tomato salsa, salsa
verde, mango salsa…
Vegetables:
I like bell peppers, hot peppers, onions, corn, lettuce,
scallions, pickled jalapenos, and olives (even though they’re not technically a
vegetable).
Other:
Guacamole and sour cream!
