Mbanga & Attieke
Mbanga is palm nut cream stew/soup and Attieke a sort of couscous made from cassava. I was introduced to this delightful combination by a friend whose West African ex-husband taught her how to make them.
To make the attieke:
You can buy attieke at African grocery stores.
It comes in a box or bag and you just steam it to cook it. It should be fluffy
and sort of like couscous.
